Book Groups
Tuesday Morning Book Group
This group meets at church each Tuesday morning from September to early June at 10:00am. Current books on faith-related topics are enjoyed, and the discussions are lively.
Our new winter book discussion begins on January 8 with Anam Cara: A Book of Celtic Wisdom by John O'Donahue.
From the back cover: “Anam Cara is a radiant source of wisdom, a link between the human and the divine. This work is a blessed, rare gem.”
New readers are always welcome! Copies are available in the church office for $10.00.
If you have questions please contact Rev. Sue LeFeber.
Friday Men's Discussion Group
All men of the church are welcome to join the Friday Men's Discussion Group. Meetings take place every Friday at 6:45am at the Family Table Restaurant, 6598 W. Brown Deer Road, Milwaukee, for breakfast, fellowship, and discussion. Topics include Bible study, book discussions, and current events.
In January, we begin Marcus Borg's Evolution of the Word: The New Testament in the Order the Books Were Written. Join us!
Our group has recently discussed Becoming a Healthy Church by Stephen Macchia, The Happiness Hypothesis by Jonathan Haidt, and The Evangelical Universalist, by Gregory McDonald.
